Xd Card Compatibility

I have an old Olympus C 350 Zoom camera.I need a new xD card for it.I have checked on the Olympus website for compatibility and it says up to 512. I tried to buy one but can not find any.Does anyone know if a 1GB card would simply not work, but access to the full capacity or it will not work at all.I do want to buy a new camera

The device manual - link below shows 256MB, Olympus and the site lists 512 "specifications".

The second link shows someone else had a problem with a 1GB card.

If it works with a 1GB card - it will access the total amount. It will either work or not.

Seems like 512 is the limit. You can try to take it to a photo shop and try a 1GB card.

You might have to actually call and ask them to Olympia.

Or, you can borrow a friend 1 GB xD card and see. Generally, the threshold is 2 GB. 4 GB and above requires much more recent cameras.
