What would be a brief overview of this document? *** please help 10 points?

Unless you just happened accidentally dropped in there, you probably already know what Photoshop is and you are here to increase your knowledge, or look for a solution to a nagging problem. During my tenure here at InformIT, I seek to accomplish two things. However, for those of you who do not yet know the range of what Photoshop is and what it can do, here's a quick breakdown:
Photoshop - as the name suggests - is a program that takes all the powers of a professional photography studio and brings it into your own hands and your own personal computer. By starting way back in the dark ages of computing (1987), Photoshop has become the end-all be-all image editing / manipulation / creation program. Photoshop has become so powerful, and loving his legions of users have become so adept at using it, as photography - a medium that has long earned a reputation to preserve evidence - is now being questioned. Images can be manipulated so cleverly designed and with Photoshop - in many cases - you can not tell an image distorted by a one unaltered. College of art fellow Alumni Center design, (well. .. it was a former close anyway) Matt Mahurin, became an incarnation of this movement when he refused the face digitally obscured for OJ Simpson the magazine's cover in 1994. As you can imagine - or perhaps remember - both he and the Time Magazine has received a lot of flack for a movement that marked the beginning of a new era.
So as you're probably beginning to understand, Photoshop is not just another software you are learning, a culture is a movement, and it changes the way the company is collecting the reality.
With this kind of deep things of the road, here is a short - list of some of the things that Photoshop CS is capable of - and very truncated:
aec Set color images with poor lighting conditions. Improved detail and clarity in the images faded or reveal parts of an image hidden in the shadows.
aec Remove the dreaded "red eye".
aec Repair of old photographs. Fix up Grandma and Grandpa, wedding photos!
aec Create composite photo. Remember, in elementary school art classes, when you could cut pictures from magazines and paste them together to create a new composition? Imagine being able to do this again, but with the power to make it look real.
aec Combine multiple photos to create a panoramic photo.
aec Easily print a contact sheet to fit as many photos as possible on the first day of your daughter to school on a single sheet of paper.
aec Create business cards, letterheads, logos, brochures, newsletters and posters using images and text.
aec Use built-in filters and styles to easily apply various effects to your photos and text.
aec Everything you can imagine, Photoshop CS can probably do it.
This section of the website InformIT.com the Photoshop Reference Guide is designed to be your main resource for learning Photoshop.
This reference guide consists of Photoshop in the following areas (see the links in each section on the left):
Each area covers one or more tools in Photoshop or features. To make it as easy and enjoyable as possible, each region has a tutorial that introduces you to key concepts in this field. In addition, you will find many tips and resources to help you master the skills you want to learn.
In addition to the content accessible via the table of contents on the left side of this page, I also update the Main Page Photoshop and weblogs week with all the latest news, cool stuff, recommendations and comments . I look forward to being your guide in this adventure called giant Photoshop!
