How do I include requests for meals menu in my wedding invitation? I already made my own wedding invitations and I start on the cards and RSVP management. I'm not sure how to include the demand for meals with that. I thought the impression of demand on the side of the card oppostite RSVP, but wonder if I should do a separate card the same size to make sure it is not ignored (I'm not so sure that I look at the back of the card RSVP myself). Any suggestions or examples from your own wedding?
The favor of a reply
It is requested before June 15

I would like to RSVP Card ... stock and a half, and fold it ... to open ... Do not RSVP on the front ... Dinner and choice within ......
For our wedding, our friends had to help ... we have a great more ... and many families. We took care of the BBQ roast complete turn for rare roast beef. Breast Corned Beef Eye of Round, and boneless turkey. Our friends have been slicing and helped to serve buffet style, for the most ... and willing to show off bringing their favorite dish. We have left, and had lots of salads, fruit salads, BBQ beans, lasagna, etc. We have a mixture of friends, and we had a mixture of food ... Everyone loved him because he was not stuffy and too formal. We all had so much fun .... No one was overwhelmed at the reception, everyone pitched in just enough, as everyone took turns to relieve the other .... We have done different and it worked very well.
Certainly include another card the same size as the RSVP card. Then they will see it and fill it, and it will be easier for you to sort the menu choices.
You could include either on the back of your RSVP card or insert it, to match a simplified version of your menu items and people to check they prefer.
Chicken ......
Beef .......
Seafood ...
Vegetarian etc.
or to include food allergies
I agree with BTB! 14/06/08
Do not over complicate things. Too many cards and envelopes separated just confuses people. Keep it simple. Even the RSVP card.
I would put it on the bottom of the reply card. On the back or on a separate card means that people can not see the menu selections, or ignore them.
I guess he had something like this:
The favor of a reply is requested before or on July 1.

______ Will be present
______ Number of Visitors

Chicken beef fish _____ _____ ____
Maybe you could do a little card to put in more. You can list the meals in italics in a nice firm feel. :)
Hope I help good luck
I would definitely use a separate card, or redo the RSVP cards so they are all together (you'll feel the same amount of things), it will fail if it's on the back
