Wedding Card Inserts

Best glue for making wedding cards?

I make stationery for my own wedding and the project is quite simple: the main part of the map, slightly smaller square in the map to stick in front and a paper insert to paste inside.
What is the best way to glue the squares and feed paper?
I have a Pritt glue stick at home, would it work properly and is it strong enough?

I do not use glue and double-sided tape. If you do not want to do that, then Pritt Stick is good because it is not too wet and will not soak in.

I would use double sided tape as well. I would not use a glue stick because it tends to dry and the item falls. Pritt glue is very papercraft but if you add too much it will squish the sides and not to produce a finish that you might like.

Here is some information on the various glues paper craft you would like:

I keep a variety of adhesives on hand for different jobs and craft paper for large orders such as wedding invitations, if I am in doubt, I have experience with a few versions of the same thing, using different adhesives and tapes for the same project. Leave them for a day or to dry, then check and see which version you prefer.

HTH

Pens ribbon or tape runners, available in craft stores and stationery supermarket dept., Cost about 2.50 pounds, easy to use with no mess. If you try it just remember to ensure fingergrip is at the top.

When making wedding invitations, you're going to need some glue, but do you know what kind of glue are suitable for card making

PVA glue is best for the paper. You can use wood glue, which is PVA.
