Where can I find a cheap cutter? I am a beginner photographer looking to get things a bit more professional.
I am looking for something to get rounded corners on the wallet-size photos. I watched die cutters, but are only $ 1,000 to pay for.
He does not have a cutter, just something that will give me rounded corners .... which is under ... say $ 100.
thank you very much!
I had the same dilemma. I finally found a great online lab that will die cut wallets for you at no additional cost and the price is very affordable. They charge 0.70 to 0.80 $ for a set of four portfolios, then you just pay shipping (which varies from $ 4.95, $ 9.75 depending on the speed you want them to arrive). This works much better for me, and I hope a laboratory for cutting my impressions rather than trying to do myself and disorder. I highly recommend looking into it as I made this my main laboratory. The site is http://www.mpix.com. They are a great lab and I had nothing but good luck to them!
Hope this helps!
A craft store has these things push button to do just that. They are also those "fancy" parts. They are really good for large images. If you have an exacto knife or a scalpel-sharp, you can put a cylindrical object, or even a coin, on the corner and use it as a guide to cut the corner square.
Check scrapbooking stores and places like Hobby Lobby chain - will be on him all sorts of them.
As mentioned in other answers, you can go to a craft store.
But if you want something more robust and time saving in the long run, maybe better to buy one with rounded corners.
Plus these are made to cut materials other than paper and can cut multiple pieces of hand unlike a punch scrapbooking can be tedious.
That's less than $ 150 but at least it's not $ 2000.
