Live or survive? (Looking for a career in central New Jersey)?

This is what I have for my resume (contact details and references without) I need some information, mostly to help. Just a reminder on my current information:

work in a brokerage firm doing maintenance (which I am now tired), I have an ASA college and need a better job. Obviously, I want to live instead of survive. I'm 27, have MS (it is one of the reasons I'm looking for a job of work not) and costs; my time in college was wasted.
