Tibet 1959

Do you think India should continue to support Tibet independence?

India supported the cause of Tibet since 1959. We left the 14th Dalai Lama to stay in our country and run a "government in exile" in Dharamsala, northern India. China is our pressure on border issues and say that India should recognize Tibet as an official part of China. This looks like a big political game for me. Should we just forget Tibet and work with China because China is a major trading partner of India and as a superpower in the future or should we continue to support Tibet. What the Tibetans want? Have u been to Tibet?

Its good that India continues to support the Tibetan exiles, but the days were numbered in Tibet ... From July 1st to be exact. Then the new railway will be open, forever linking China to Lhasa. As it becomes cheaper for the Chinese to migrate to Tibet, they will, and if ever before, Tibet is given the chance to vote for freedom, it will most Chinese immigrants.

I've never been to Tibet, but I met the Tibetans, and there are mixed feelings about the relationship with China. Some believe in independence, human rights and gender. But some argue that China has helped Tibetans to better integrate into the modern world, a better education, better economic situation.

I really do not like China's policy of forcing trading partners to accept the "one-China policy," which denounces Tibet, Taiwan or the independence of Xinjiang. China is so big and has so many people it can produce cheaper than anyone else. Our Western countries, "tags of democracy" in the world, would have instead of cheap Chinese products stand for freedom of Tibet ("Xizang Province of China"), the East Turkestan ("Xinjiang Province of China ") and Taiwan

India should seek Tibet, and give them freedom in their governance, in contrast to the Chinese communism. This is very unlikely though. But the Tibetans want freedom in India. Report Abuse

India should seek Tibet, and give them freedom in their government, unlike the chinesecommunists who believe in human rights. This is very unlikely though. But the Tibetans would rather be with India Abuse Report

We must support freedom. No criminal business partners. For more, go to Anti-state.com

India does not deal with countries that oppress it class.China work has been rightly accused of pathetic violations.Tibet Human Rights should continue its quest for freedom and India should support .

All coutries who are looking to profit from China were also on their aggrement laborial terrible situation and close major ecological disaster.

Freedom is to try to keep humanity away from our primal roots. Choose between silver and ecology and human rights has never been easy, for sure, but someone needs to do once G8 are only concerned about money.

Depends on what the Tibetans want.
