I am looking for a poem of sympathy that was on a map of Blue Mountain that begins "when someone dies?" possibly written by Ashley Rice
I saw someone else ask the question, but the response included a link does not work
When someone dies, a cloud turns into
an angel, and flies to say to God
to put another flower on a pillow.
A bird gives the message to
the world, and sings a silent prayer
that is the cry of the rain. People say
appear, but they never really disappear.
The spirits there to the sun
bed, wake up grass, and spin the
the earth in dizzy circles. Sometimes you
can be seen dancing in a cloud during
the day time, when they are supposed
sleep. They paint the rain
arcs and the sunsets and make
waves splash and tug at the tide.
They start shooting stars and listen
wishes. And when they sing wind
songs, they whisper to us, not
miss me too much. The view is beautiful
and I'm fine.
