I'm getting married in December and I need help with the theme? It is a winter themed wedding ... bridesmaid are wearing red. Flowers will be red and white with a little greenery. Favors will be made of glass and glass flake I'll put snowflakes sparkling on small tables to decorate. The thing is that I'm getting married in a vineyard and they give me free setting place cards they have at the top of a cork and align them (the theme of wine from his vineyard) and then they give us a beautiful 3 layer wedding cake with grapes draped over the sides of each layer.

It is really beautiful and very impressive, but that will not flake Chsitmas Clach with my theme? What do you think? If I can get away with it I would stay with her (at least alarming to me), but if you think it is too broad PLEASE let me know.
Make it a "winter in the vineyard" theme! I do not think guests will mind these two things that do not correspond exactly to ALL. I know I would not mind, I would just think of the beauty of the wedding cake is! Try to work with them, though. Ask them to use red grapes, or the spread of sprinkles snowflakes (they sell these on-line) around the base of the cake to continue the theme. Honestly, it sounds beautiful.
No, I do not think that confrontation. Your theme does not have to be in every little detail.
This is an incredibly beautiful cake. Can you choose the color of the grape? Red would be better I think.
Personally, I think you could pull it out as long as you're tactful about it ... As a suggestion to go to Walmart (Thrift Store) buy grapes in plastic and put next to your snowflakes, how it works ... Good luck ...
Ask them to red grapes, maybe some mistletoe on it too? You just have to ask, I'm sure they could help you a lot too.
Good luck

Lovely cake! I wonder if you could have red grapes instead, but even if you can not, do not worry. It's beautiful and people will understand that it is consistent with the location.
I think the cake is beautiful! Depending on how clever you are, you can buy stuff in glass etching a craft store (Michael Moore or AC) and snowflakes in some etch wine glasses. You can put these glasses on the table as cake decorations. The engraving is not very difficult, my best friend was a wedding in December and we carved ornaments for favors. Good luck, whatever happens, I'm sure it will be beautiful!
This cake is absolutely beautiful!
I agree with what everyone said about red grapes. But if they can not, no big deal.
The decor vineyard definetely do not conflict with your theme, as it is in a vineyard, vine-something to be built anyway. It will be perfect!
Congratulations and good luck!
The cake is beautiful and I do not think it will clash that you have the reception in a vineyard. But if you do, of course, you could see on bringing your own wedding cake. It may cost a little more to buy a cake separately and they can charge you to serve your guests, but at least you know it will go with your theme of winter. It's just a suggestion.
Congratulations! My daughter got married last December 15. She did not even use the theme of winter. She loved pink and he liked green lite. While at the reception there were two Christmas trees. It was an extra touch. I like the idea of ae‹ae‹the cake. It's really something goes theses days any way you like it then plan and forget it! I'd be more worried that he might drink a little especially as the vine and the slurry cake in your face. Because it would be worth it.
