Save The Date Picture

What can I use the language of our beach theme save the date?

We will have a theme wedding beach in Ocean City, Maryland, and I need ideas on Save the wording of date. I do the save the date magnets myself, and having a picture of a sunset on the beach in the background. I want something thats cute with a feeling of beach. Save the day for May 8, 2010. If you have any ideas please let me know!

Thank you!

This may go against your idea because you have an image you want to use ... but you may want to consider writing "Save the Date" in the sand with your fingers right on the water with two hearts.

Really, a lot of words do not have a save the date - just the two of your names and date. But if you want, I could recommend something like, "Get ready to feel the sand between your toes May 8, 2010." or something like that.

Just do it normally. Some people get confused at what is save the date. So I would just say "the date for the wedding of ___ and ____ May 8, 2010"
