Christmas should be a wonderful time for your family. But with the hectic pace of modern life, it seems sometimes you just run back and forth between work and Christmas shopping with little opportunity to spend quality time with your family. Often life is so busy that you might feel lucky even to get on Christmas day off work!
Take time for craft projects family Christmas is a great way to make holiday magic. Make your own Christmas cards can be particularly fun, and it's really very simple.
There are basically two ways to make your own Christmas cards: the good old days and modern way.
In the old way, you can use construction paper, crayons, paints, and glue to create handmade Christmas cards. In the modern way, you can create the map on a computer and print it. You can even buy paper designed for printing greeting cards at most office supply stores or online.
Surprisingly, the two ways by many things in common. After all, a Christmas card is fairly simple. You just need a good image for the front and some short text, nice for inside, and perhaps for the cover.
I recommend picking the first photo. The colors of the image will give you a better idea of ae‹ae‹what the paper color to use if you do not use white paper. Often the image you choose will give you the perfect idea for the text.
You can get pictures from old Christmas cards or magazines and paste them on the front of the card. Or your family can draw or paint images. You can even find Christmas graphics online. Whether you are pasting a picture on construction paper, painting or drawing, or copy and paste on a computer screen, a large picture goes a long way to create a beautiful card. It sets the tone of the card. Do you want a card funny? A map of the religion? The image of the scene.
For the text, you can either write your own message or you can borrow a few lines from the stories of Christmas as "Twas The Night Before Christmas." If it is a religion, you can even borrow a line or two from Scripture. You can have text on the cover of the card with the graphics or you can just have a picture on the front and only have text inside the card. It's totally your choice.
Fun for young and old, to make your own Christmas cards is easy and it does not take long. But the pleasure to have them and smile on the face of the person opening the card will be remembered forever. What to do your own cards or make other families Christmas crafts projects, the key is that these family activities to create memories that last a lifetime.
