The proper etiquette on thank you notes? I was recently threw a bridal shower and some of my guests pool their money together and gave me a number of different things. How do I get my acceptance speech? Clearly, if a write to Aunt Betty it would sound funny if I said thank you for the electric mixer, bread machine, painting, masterpiece, untesils, etc. when she threw in $ 30.00 to him. Im drawing a blank.
Right next to the same message for everyone. As you thank Betty Sue, Mary, and Kelly for the console. If your sending the message to Mary something good just for her on the thank you note. Since it was so nice to see you again Marie we must meet soon. When you have the right to pursue the note something personal right, and thank you General and so on and so on.
Just thank him for his generosity, and let her know the beautiful gifts will be cherished for years to come. You may want to mention that you like in particular the "blah blah" because "blah blah". This way you can mention at least one specific gift. I agree, if the money was pooled, you can not really speak of the gifts donated by its name in the thanks.
Good luck!
