Who would have ever thought of putting an attraction of surfing on a ship? Of course we would. The FlowRider ® surf simulator attracts hundreds of surfers are willing and oglers in the backyard of sport every day. Even customers who never thought they would try something like this are to give it a go. You don? T need lessons to try our FlowRider ® surf simulator, but a personal sessions with instructors are a great way to get more time on the water so you can master the basics, perfect your form or pick a few fun tricks.
Please Note: Pre-bookings for lessons FlowRider ® are available only for the Oasis and Allure of the Seas. Our Freedom class ships you can register for lessons on board.
How does it work? The FlowRider sends a thin sheet of water up to a platform tilted and (thankfully) padded to create a wave of water flow. So it's perfect to start, intermediate and advanced surfers. After receiving safety instructions and tips for a successful conduct of our instructors, you can let 'er RIP standing (flowboarding) or lying (bodyboard). Carve, try tricks and show your stuff as spectators to encourage you from the viewing platform nearby. If you hear a collective "Owww" in stereo as you erase, you know you have been broadcast on flat screen televisions in the bar adjacent Wipeout.

Costs There is no fee to ride the FlowRider. And you can prepare for your adventure of surfing the sports shop.
Waivers on board activities Save time by signing waivers in advance for online activities such as climbing wall, FlowRider ®, Zip Line and more! Guests sailing on Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas can sign a waiver in advance of sailing, up to 3 days prior to your sailing.
