Place Card Holders

I want to have the cards placed on each seat holders, but do not want to spend a dollar a door so I thought to my own. Any suggestions that are cheap?

It depends on the style of the wedding. I made inexpensive place card holders out of everything from mini flower pots with gravel for shellfish and even cookies as place cards - custom glass and with the customer's name is written on them in the as a present. (These are also the wedding favors and we have placed on top of the towel on serving plates.) Fortune cookies work and cardholders can place as whole pieces of fruit or vegetable. If I knew more about your wedding I could probably find something totally new for you.

I bought mine on clearance at theknot.com, they were $ 0.48 per person at the price I got, normally, would have been $ 1.50. Sign up for their emails and wait for a sale, choose the ones you want, and leave it in your "basket" for a day. They will send you a coupon of 15% to complete the order. Works every time!

Otherwise, you might give up alltogether holders (most of the weddings I've done recently did) and just have cards that stand on their own. They are called "style tent."

Some ideas here. I do not think you can make them cheaper!

I would go to Walmart or Michael or arts and crafts store. because they have to have them in a pack.
