Patrick Barrett Press Lucky Duck inherited from his former foot-powered typography of the family business. His great grandfather started in 1901, Sterling Press, first the property of the print paper and then move on to fabric strips. Patrick grew up watching his father work on manual presses, but did not express interest until many years later, after studying theater in college.
