Ladybug Thank You Notes

What is the name of children's book with the shiny silver fish?

I'm buying a gift of baby books for a pregnant friend. I would like a book I read to several children I babysat, but I can not remember the name. It is beautifully illustrated with bright silver fish, and I do not remember what it's called!

On a related note, if you have any suggestions for great books for a newborn, please let me know. Right now, I'm planning to get Goodnight Moon, Pat the Bunny, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, where the spot and possibly the brown bear, brown bear what do you see?, Where is Baby Belly Button?, And Ten little ladybugs.

Thank you!

Raibow fish, I think. Oh, I love Goodnight Moon! Look for books "classics" with the thorns of gold, those who are good. As the newspaper "one of the books (a worm, a spider, etc.) are cute. On a side note, try to get the stuffed bunny goodnight moon, it is adorable.

Is it Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister?

Its called Rainbow Fish.

I just tried to look on the internet ... Rainbow Fish is it?

Rainbow Fish. They are some really good books for children. Harold and the Purple Crayon (and I think Harold has another book as well) would be another good.

One of my favorites that was given to our son when he was born was Guess How Much I love you (made me tear up every time I read it). My son also really enjoyed the books by Sandra Boynton - Going to Bed Book is always a classic. Good Night Gorilla is one of the most beautifully illustrated books of the board there and the kids really love it.

For newborns, like the day you were born - it's a touching story of the joy of birth. My son is just beginning to understand the history and think it's great how the "baby" in history has been so warmly welcomed into the world.

Books and the love of reading is a wonderful gift that can never be lost!

Oh, I know, at least I think I do. The book shiny fish is:
"Rainbow Fish and Friends" by Marcus Pfister
one of my children is "The Copycat Fish"

Books I like for my twins who are one are:

1. Fuzzy, blurry, fuzzy (Sandra Boynton) feel it is a book touch
nothing in it is cute and they come mostly in the logbooks

2.My Friend Bear (Jez Alborough)

Most are high on your list! What a fun idea as a gift for baby shower.

Obtain board books, they are quite hardy. Dr. Suess books and Boynton are also a huge success. Polar Bear, Polar Bear What do you hear, the Velveteen Rabbit, Where the Wild Things Are, all books Early Learning Council - as the ABC book, Guess How Much I love you, No More Monkeys Jumping on the bed .

Target has all the great board books together in their book section. Go have fun!

Rainbow Fish .. My Boys Love this book.

My daughters love books Olivia, and we have half a dozen books Boynton. Going to Bed Book is my favorite, but all Boynton books are just adorable, I love them and do the girls.

Not sure if it comes in a book of advice, but I love The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. And then there Guess How Much I love you.

There is another book where a mother is in her son's room at night and said, "I will always love you, I will love you forever, as long as I'm living my baby you'll be." I can not remember for sure, but I think it is I always will.

And I love Dr. Seuss. For babies, there is the book up, Mr. Brown can Moo, can you?, And an ABC book.

Good hunting baby book!
