Looking for Gujarati items to put in my "Big Fat Sikh / Gujarati" marriage hold? If you look at it and respond, thank you!
I am the Bridesmaid / Wedding Planner Wedding until my sister for a great guy. The problem is that we are in the Sikh faith and is married Gujarati Jain!
We have everything sorted double ceremony, but I'm looking for ideas to help me make a (relatively small) Gujarati family feel welcome among our loud and overwhelming, not too mention huge! Punjabi Sikh family.
The party mendhi / Sangeet / Cocktail going to have a kind of theme to it Garba.
Asides from the traditional Gujarati Garba and Dhandia-RAAS, are there other things you (or friends) can think to add to the occasion (such as food specialties Gujarati, wedding games, songs, costumes traditional souvenirs, other traditions ... and so on)?
Thank you for your help in advance of a sister a little overwhelmed / Bridesmaid / wedding planner cheapest they could find!
I must admit I'm not familiar with the tradition is, but that does not prevent me from seeking information to help you in need. I found some sites that can help you. I have listed below.
