Does it cost more to send a text message to a mobile abroad?

I live in England and my boyfriend is on holiday in Poland and Polish using a SIM card. I have a contract phone and have unlimited texts. Do I have to pay for sending text to a mobile phone abroad?

Yes, it will probably cost somewhere between 10 and 25p, depending on the network you're on.
Free texts are included for mobile phones in the UK, not international ones.
You might want to look into Skype, which lets you send text messages for pennies. (7.1p TTC numbers Polish text)
