Funeral Thank You Cards

Thank you cards after a funeral?

I send thank you cards to people who came to the funeral and those who sent flowers for the funeral of my father recently.

The question is do I send a thank you card for those who sent condolences cards too?

I am a doctor in a small town, so I'm hundreds of cards and I do not know if I have time.

But these are my patients and I feel like I should send them a card.

I guess I'll have to take the time to do it, so I'm not sure why I am still asked the question.

What do you think?

Yes, if they show respect to your father and yourself, why not send some respect back

Thanks are usually sent for flowers or a gift, not for cards or a presence. There are printed general appreciation of sympathy thanks specifically for this purpose in the stores I also saw stationery or cards printed specifically as John Smith, MD expresses its deep gratitude for your expression of sympathy in this case the death of his father ... . ....... I think you can get these online too, and sent them to you. Then, someone might respond, no one expects especially from personal notes to someone in your noble profession.

Sorry for your dad. I hope you go straight and hugs.

Personally, I do not send cards to people who came to the funeral or those just send cond. cards only. Just think about it: Usually you do not thank people for coming to the funeral of your father. They paid their respects.

I sent thank you cards to people who gave me $ with cards or sent me flowers or paid for Masses. If they gave you a gift of some sort, then yes, by all means send a thank you. God bless you.

Thanks are not necessary for a sympathy card. Unless it had money in it. And that deserves a thank you. And flowers, gifts, food, gifts, and everyone who came out of their way to help.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss.

When my father died, I sent thank you cards to those who sent flowers and contributions to charities monument. When my mother died a few years ago, we had pots and other food from neighboring countries, and it was a gesture that was greatly appreciated. In this case, we sent a thank you card.

We do not send cards to people who wrote sympathy cards or those who attended the funeral or viewing.

My recommendation to you is to send only to those who sent flowers, contributions to charities monument, and to those who sent food [stews, cakes, pies, cookies, etc. to the family home].

send a letter of thanks for the flowers donations of food etc. ..

sen not need a thank you for a card

I do not think you really need to do at all.
The recognition that a memory I have ever received was a note from the charity that was recommended instead of flowers. Other than that, I think it is not customary at least not here.

I do not think its very nessacary at all. when people send flowers, they know it was appreciated.

I'd say you do not have to send thank you cards for just a sympathy card. I would like to send cards of thanks, which contained money, flowers, food, shopping, etc.

I'll make a suggestion, but I do not know if it would be considered tacky or not.

You can write a general letter thanking everyone for their kindness maps, words of comfort, etc. You could say that you have received a large volume of cards and condolences and the letter was the best, most effective way to send notes. Then at the end of the letter write a brief note: ". Betty, thank you for the card That meant a lot to me."

Then you could send them to everyone who sent cards.
In some ways it's even sent a thank you note, but it will be a.
