Fall wedding colors? Help? I am planning my October 2010 wedding and my colors are provisional ivory with eggplant, with small (very small quantities, as for the napkin rings, place cards, table, bridesmaid jewelry, and my centerpeices that will be fish in a decorative vase beta * I have a friend who raises beta and is ready to lend me some for the reception *) accents of turquoise (which I might decide to royal blue, or fail alltogether), sage and terracotta. I go to and the theme of Indian summer and stay away from brown, copper, bronze and gold I do not like them.
But to get to the question, I think my dress is ivory with beading eggplant, but what colors should I use for my bouquet? I can not have a bouquet of ivory can I? Would not it strange air against an ivory dress? (Especially if I get some pictures in black and white? I am a big fan of photography in black and white) also, what colors should be the BM dresses then, and their bouquets?
Too! I always wanted a formal wedding, prom dress, dress tails and top hat, etc. .. Would it be difficult to draw for a outdoor ceremony? (It will be a local state park, which overlooks a valley, one of our favorite places and breathtaking in the fall, almost as you get a lump in the throat of your kind of beautiful, lol .)
I think your color palette and a description of how the wedding will be absolutely beautiful sounds, honestly. I think three colors is very good, especially since you do the implementation of turquoise, terra cotta and sage in small quantities.
I also had problems with the bouquet in my wedding, I understand where you came from. Flowers white or ivory seems strange because it is impossible to get an exact match, so maybe something like this would work: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?lis ... Get a sample of your dress and the ribbon to the exact color of the ivory you want.
As for the bridesmaid dresses, perhaps you might consider making a dress eggplant with either ivory, turquoise, terracotta or sage colored scarf. The belt can be thin so it does not seem to be overwhelming. This dress, for example, comes in the color "lapis" which is essentially of eggplant http://www.davidsbridal.com/webapp/wcs/s ... It would be amazing with a tiny waist like this: http : / / www. davidsbridal.com / webapp / wcs / s ... Look at the colors "oasis", "khaki", "ivory" and "honeydew" to see what I mean.
I hope this helped a bit!
ok a little advice of your wedding colors wedding colors or IAM to be married Sept. 5, 2009 and my colors are chocolate, ivory and silver and my flowers are tulips
Is it practical to the outside in a ball gown? If it is still warm where you are during the Indian summer in October? Is your man is at ease in a coat and tails?
How can you have a fall wedding with a theme of the Indian summer, but stay away from brown, copper, gold and bronze, when everyone is these colors? The leaves of this view that gives you a lump in the throat are exactly those colors, Hon ... so I'm a little confused.
All your colors seem a little hard to match, decoration wise. Ivory, dark purple, clay (which, incidentally, is a tanned, the orang.
