Christmas Card Craft Ideas

I am looking for an idea for Christmas crafts mat for the church. As the use of hands to paint or something like that. We will be using the placemats for a senior breakfast. Nothing more than to use old Christmas cards, I that. Maybe something about the birth of Christ, angels, pictures and scriptures, etc. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, vmitch

Go to Army Hi or some of these places, buy a white, light blue or cream mat (if you know how to do, just buy material and sew.

Find Christmas fabric with a crib, cut the parts you like and the fabric using iron attached to the parties to the mat. You can also cut with gold or silver rick-rack tape.

You can also draw pictures in coloring books and fabric paint them.

I guess a lot depends on how much you need and if the effort of a group or you do it alone. If it is a group that would be a great project for the classes of the Sunday school.

Whatever you do, I know that breakfast will be a great success and the elderly will really enjoy it. You might have an entry price for the doily of their choice.
