What is the best way to attach the baseboard on the wall? I need to put new skirting on the girls in my room but I always had problems with this in the past in other parts. The main reasons for this are:
* The inner wall is not made of bricks or concrete blocks, bricks, ceramic tiles, but these are very difficult.
* Much of the plaster has fallen behind the old skirting board
In the past I have tried many things and while they all worked (at the end) can not help thinking that there must be a better way. The things I tried are:
* The tightening, but the cast is so brittle in places that is impossible with very long screws
* Patching plaster, and pasting it on, but it takes time
* The nailing, but the tiles are very difficult to nail into
Any ideas?

Yes you have tried without nails sealent is great, we have the same problem and we can not break through walls we stuck to the baseboards without putty nail £ 4 49 b and q, if you live in the UK
Well I'll tell you that the best way when I saw the spam at the end of your post. But thank you for the 2 points.
Use a substance called Evo-Grip Grip or filling. This stuff can stick your buttocks toward the ceiling. It is very fast drying and super-strong.
without nails is really more good things, and considering that u said that the plaster is crumbling in places, I think it would be much better off using a strong adhesive rather than risk damaging the plaster even further by trying to nail / screw in it.
Use nail glue is a wall that runs actuly
I had the same problem when renovating an old house. Your best option would be to use an impact adhesive such as "No more nails." At first I had mixed results and found it was better to support the baseboard while the glue is dry. Nail a block at the end of the skirt to the floor and hit a wedge into the gap. Repeat every six feet - works a treat.
No nails MORE! Gods gift to women DIY ERS!
Go to Wickes and buy some glue Heavy Duty Construction ..... one in the plastic tube that is inserted into the caulking guns (£ 2.49 & £ 1.99 approx.) Cut the end off and squirt the adhesive on the back of the skirting borad and adhere to the wall. If you get some flexing or bending of the plinth just use a few trucks to hold the wall. It should last forever ........... very strong when dry!
