This video card has the power requirements:. Minimum power supply 250 Watt (. Minimum recommended power supply with current rating of 12 volts 18 amps) I am however, reluctant to make the minimum requirements. If your power supply 300 Watt is capable of delivering 18 amps it should do for now. If you move to 8800 or 9800, you must update the PSU at the same time.

Yes you can customize this card as it is a PCI-e and you have this slot.

However, you will need to update your diet that you only have a 300watt supply.

I would use at least a 600watt to be sure.
