What birthday party invitation word? 30th anniversary of my husband to come. We are the party with the Rock Bottom Brewery, a classy place, but affordable. How do I word the invitation that we will pay for the cream drinks, cakes and ice, but not the main food and beverage?
Is it bad? There are a lot of meals for 10.00 and under there, if it's not as if it were an expensive restaurant .. Yet I wonder if it's rude!
See if the place has a website with a menu to display the clients. Put invite exactly what you intend to provide. And tell them what you told us there are many choices under ten dollars if you want to order dinner.
I would say ...
Appetizers and desserts from home ...
Menu attached for those who want to buy their dinner ...
You might say something like
"Appitizers and dessert will be paid, so bring your appetite!"
This is assuming that all your friends are not jerks who would take advantage of you.
Haha, and I know it's a little corny, but it allows people to know that is all that will be paid in a nice way.
But you can always be honest and bottom of the invitation is to "Food and beverages will not be paid for" I'm sure no one take offense, I'd rather know before hand, what show and having an awkward position.
I hope I helped. :]
